It’s really inspiring to see the versatility (and project choice) of directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who are mostly known for their horror genre films Paranormal Activity.

Their visual storytelling abilities, coupled with some great pacing and thought provoking music, really captured the claustrophobic & stressful nature of the city while also leaving the viewer with both a cerebral and inspired feeling inside.

Not bad for 3 days and a four man crew!

The reveal of Chris Burden’s entire sculpture at the end was spot on, and not only made me want to visit LACMA to see it in person but also made me want to watch out for this directing duo to see what’s next.
